Volunteers for Change, a volunteer program of Volunteer Fairfax, recently hosted the annual Valentines Challenge. This family-friendly event took place at the City of Fairfax Fire Department Station 3 where dozens of volunteers hand-crafted cards, each with a unique design and Valentine’s messages. These cards will be distributed to former foster kids by Foster Care 2 Success in time for Valentine’s Day. Organizers want to thank City of Fairfax Mayor David Meyer for his support and to Earth Fair of Fairfax for the snacks.
