On July 27, a Fairfax County Animal Shelter staff member, dressed in a special suit uses a combination of cleaning agents to decontaminate floors, walls, cages and every “nook and cranny” of the shelter in response to an outbreak of a yet-unidentified upper respiratory infection among its dog population.
