Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) received the Tech Champion of the Year award, presented by Fedscoop CEO Goldy Kamali, Thursday night at an event attended by IT leaders from the federal government and the private sector. Connolly is the co-author of legislation to reform the federal government’s IT acquisition programs. The legislation has passed the House and is awaiting action in the Senate.
